The American Kayaking Association is proud to be a part of such an amazing organization for the second year running. Come join us on the water and paddle along the Scioto Mile in downtown Columbus, Ohio. This is a paddle you’ll not forget as you paddle through the city and listen to the echoing sounds of the music as it plays on the main stage.

Saturday, June 15; lines up, beginning at 8:30am, in the Short North [on N. High St. between Buttles Ave. and Park St. and surrounding Goodale Park]; steps off at 10:30am; travels to Bicentennial Park, 233 Civic Center Dr.

The first Pride march in Columbus, Ohio was held in June 1981. Only 200 people were in attendance, and some even wore bags over their heads to conceal their identities. This year, we celebrate the 38th year of Pride in Columbus.

Bike Friendly Franklinton presents the third annual Franklinton Bike Fest, a celebration of our bicycle culture and promotion of its growth. Bike Friendly Franklinton envisions a neighborhood where people bike regularly and with confidence because we believe a bike-able and walk-able neighborhood is a better place to live, work, and play.

The Franklinton Bike Fest will have food, games, stuff for the kiddos, music, bike demos, and much more; stayed tuned for the details.

This full-color coffee table book features 160+ stunning images of LGBTQ life in Columbus, covering more than 50 years of celebrations, protests, marches, and scenes of LGBTQ individuals just plain being their authentic selves in our Ohio capital.

As America’s largest civil rights organization fighting for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights, the Human Rights Campaign [HRC] provides a national voice for LGBTQ issues. This work includes lobbying Congress, mobilizing grassroots action in diverse communities, and increasing public understanding through innovative education and communication strategies.

Come out, come out wherever you are and enjoy Taco Tuesday for trans kids! A portion of all proceeds The Kitchen receives will be donated to the Transgender Children’s Legal Defense Fund to help ensure that transgender, gender-fluid, and gender-questioning kids will have a safe, supporting home environment.

No tickets are necessary; come when you can and eat as much as you can!
