Saturday, May 4, 10am-4pm, Parsons Ave. [between E. Whittier St. and E. Deshler Ave.]
Avenue for All is a festival championing the vision that Parsons Ave., and indeed the South Side, are a place for everyone, no matter our age, political affiliation, race, religion, or economic background. While historically Parsons Avenue has been a dividing line, it has the opportunity to be a gathering space for the whole community. We invite the community to experience the beauty and power of the South Side’s rich history and diversity and be a part of creating an Avenue for All!
Friday, May 3, everywhere in the world

It is an opportunity to:
• celebrate the fundamental principles of press freedom;
• assess the state of press freedom throughout the world;
• defend the media from attacks on their independence;
