Session Two: The Trauma Surrounding National Origin and Migration

11-11:15am: Networking opportunity and resources will be available.

11:15am-1pm: Join a panel of experts and individuals who will speak on the unique forms of trauma and discrimination that occur based on national origin. Topics that will be covered include misperceptions, forced migration, immigration status, and what you can do to help.

With this annual ride, a short, slow and silent processional through downtown Columbus, hundreds of Central Ohio cyclists join an international movement to honor cyclists killed or injured while riding on public roadways and raise awareness that cyclists have a legal right to the road. This ride is a short, slow and silent funeral-style processional that attracts hundreds of cyclists from all corners of our community.

Join NAMI Ohio on Wednesday, May 15, for our 2019 Legislative Advocacy Day. Enjoy lunch in the Ohio Statehouse Atrium and hear inspirational speakers. Following lunch, you will have the opportunity to visit with your Senators and Representatives. Meeting one-on-one with your elected officials is the best way to advocate for mental health services, access, and encourage support of current bills.
