Franklin County is currently facing a serious influx of children entering the system because of abuse, abandonment or neglect. Unfortunately, many of our youth are lingering in shelters and group homes because there is a lack of quality, loving caregivers. Come and learn more about the many benefits of becoming a foster parent or a mentor and hear how you or someone you know can help a child in need.

Join us for a community resource night revolving around Transgender Health and Wellness! General transition related information, as well as local provider information, will be available. Resource topics will include HRT [Hormone Replacement Therapy], electrolysis, legal name/gender marker, counseling services, surgical options, and more. Meet other trans and gender-non-conforming community members and have your questions about transitioning answered.

Learn simple organic gardening techniques that will have your neighbors wondering how your garden produce can look so great without using harmful pesticides and herbicides. From the soil to those pesky bugs, we will explore the basics of organic gardening techniques.
