The election results are in, and a second Trump administration will be hostile to science and to the evidence-based solutions we need to protect public health and reduce the impacts of climate change. We are going to need scientists and science advocates to stay vigilant to hold our decision-makers accountable and protect against attacks on science.

The topic will nominally be Call To Action’s “Re/Generation Program” for Catholics in their twenties and thirties; discussion will follow.

Hosted by Call To Action Columbus, the Columbus chapter of a national organization of Roman Catholics who are working together to foster peace and justice in our world, our church, and ourselves. Call To Action is the country’s largest church reform organization.

What have you heard about nuclear energy? The Perry Nuclear Power Plant has glaring concerns about the geological makeup underneath the plant and some of the radioactive emissions into Lake Erie that is making some environmental justice advocates petition the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Attention is needed to raise consciousness about the dangers of the entire bluff that Perry sits on sliding into Lake Erie — sooner rather than later.

The Columbus Transgender Day of Remembrance will be hosted at King Ave. United Methodist Church on Wednesday, November 20 at 7pm. Please plan to arrive after 6:30pm (doors will not open before 6:30pm). The program will begin at 7pm and will end by 8:30pm, followed by a short reception that will end at 9pm.
