I’m contemplating Slutty Vegan should open a North Campus location. I contemplated the lack of vegan options in my immediate neighborhood. Slutty Vegan is a vegan burger place in ATL, NY, TX, and Alabama.
I perused my immediate vegan options within a short walk. I remembered I love Ne’s Chinese Food. During Covid, Ne’s Chinese Food, 2620 N High St, Columbus, OH 43202, built stringed contraptions for no contact payment, and food reception. Ne’s was like San Rio made a cute scene in a Godzilla movie during Covid.
Ne’s veg options offers American Favorites, and Main menus. Ne’s sticks out because of the Eggplant Dishes.
I ordered Fried Potato, Eggplant, Green Peppers and rice. Big round eggplants, with small potatoes and slices of small green peppers are scrumptious. Other main favorites include Eggplant with Brown Sauce, and Home Style Tofu. I haven’t tried the Cumin Green Bean, or Cumin Fried tofu, yet.
While I don’t know the differences between the American, and Main Menu. From the American menu, I order Sichuan Tofu, Sichuan Eggplant, and Tofu Vegetables.
I ate food while watching TV.

Tuesday, I walked into Cafe Bourbon Street. I asked the doorman about the new Cheater Slicks single. The doorman said ”We’re finishing the artwork.” The Doorman plays in Cheater Slicks.
Tuesday at Cafe Bourbon Street, people were excited. Dehd’s Jason Bella’s Accessory were playing. Dehd is from Chicago and releases music from Fat Possum. Dehd is a known band in music. Dehd has released several albums.
Bourbon Street was filled with regulars and Dehd Heads. I don’t think Dehd fans are called Dehd Heads.
Dehd is band which sequences indie pop vocals with loud noise rock elements.
Accessory is a band with various members from the Chicago music scene – Jason Bella from Dehd with members of Meat Wave, Deeper and Ulna.
Accessory took the stage and started playing. I found out that Accessory February 4th, 2025 sounded like the Velvet Underground envisioned as a 70’s psych rock band. Or a 70’s hard rock band workshopping after hearing the Velvet Underground.
Dr. Bob goes solo as his co-host is unavailable this week, and plays the three longest rock songs he could find - Alice's Restaurant, In-a-gadda-da-vida and Thick as a Brick.

Dr. Bob Fitrakis and Dan-o Dougan spin songs recorded by all-girl groups from the 1940s, such as the Carter Sisters and Andrews Sisters, through the 50s, 60s and 70s with the Ronettes and Supremes, up to the 80s with Sister Sledge and lots more!

Biblioteque De L’Annee: Hip Hop is History - By Questlove.
Questlove’s book was a bridge between Hip Hop’s 50th Anniversary and Kamala’s 90 day campaign. The Tonight Show’s music director drums for legendary Roots and knows our Woman VP of the United States of America.
Women don’t forget Kamala as VP hadn’t occurred until 2020. In 2022, Black Thought and Dangermouse released my favorite record.
Roots are for humanity and for the upliftment of Africa. Progress exists.
Hip Hop Album of the Year: Kurious - Magician
Kurious exuded 1993 cool in 2024. Kurious was friends with MF Doom. Magician resembles a calmer version of Operation Doomsday. During Magician, Kurious sounds like drinking with yr neighbor and sharing conversation while lining up skins.
Dr. Bob Fitrakis and Dan-o Dougan discuss a variety of holiday songs: gratitude songs from Thanksgiving by ZZTop, William DeVaughn, and Sly Stone; Christmas-oriented songs like Father Christmas, Christmas in Prison, River, and Run, Rudolph, Run; and more!

Jesus Lizard are a legendary group who I don’t own any albums except their newest record
Rack. Jesus Lizard are a band skaters bumped after quitting skating while using drugs or drinking and starting bands. Jesus Lizard became a noise rock favorite while people were coming of age. Finishing school introduced responsibilities requiring employment and maturity.
Jesu Lizard are a literate man’s band.
Jesus Lizard released blue collar punk. I have close friends in Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Louisiana that all regard Jesus Lizard concerts as life-affirming events. Jesus Lizard shows were an act of insubordinate living in rejection of societies’ pre-programmed acquiescence. I hadn’t watched Jesus Lizard live, I was too young or I wasn’t in town.
