For the first time ever, legislation is moving through both the Ohio House and Senate (HB 439 & SB 329) to prohibit spreading toxic, radioactive oil & gas waste on our roads as deicers and dust suppressants. Join us on Monday, December 8th from Noon to 1:00 pm for a virtual phone bank.
We’ll be calling members of the Senate Agriculture & Natural Resources Committee and the House Natural Resources committee in support of these bills. Let’s make history and protect our roads and water.
Join us for our next monthly working group meeting on Tuesday, December 9th from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. In addition to general updates, we’ll hear from Third Act Ohio member Scott Wachter who will discuss gas leaf blowers - their impact on the environment and suggestions on how to curtail their use.
