The leaders of the neo-liberal left wing of the Democratic party have cynically denied any collusion between Saddam Hussein's Iraqi dictatorship and Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda terrorists to commit mass murder and acts of offensive war.  The truth is that the joint efforts of the two are factually documented and beyond rational dispute.

Further, these same neo-lib leftist utopians question whether Hussein possessed weapons of human extermination and the necessity of removing him from power.  They simultaneously insist that the civilized world can reason with and appease human monsters such as bin Laden and his hordes of Islamist barbarians.  They claim to believe these leaps of fantasy in the face of irrefutable evidence to the contrary.  The ghost of Neville Chamberlain haunts the Democrats and the well-being of all humanity.

These astoundingly ignorant and dishonest positions force one to question whether the entire Democratic party membership comprehends the extreme danger Islamist radicalism presents to the very existence of the free world. Irrational views as these are equivalent to believing the September 11th, 2001 attack on America and the subsequent war against Islamist fascist terrorism happened in the Twilight Zone.  If the Democratic faithful cannot grasp these truths, they and their candidates cannot be trusted with political power - from dog catcher to President.

Notwithstanding any utterances of alternative reality from the likes of John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, Jimmy Carter, Howard Dean, Al Gore, Richard Clarke or any member of the vast neo-liberal left wing conspiracy residing within the Democratic party, the threat that the Islamist savages represent to civilization is potentially extinction level.  For those in the real world, the quotes below are a sample of the facts:

'The history of murder, rape and torture by Saddam's regime is one of the most extraordinary in human history. And Iraq's ties with terrorist groups in the 1990s are clear.  And in the fall of 2002, Mr. Tenet [CIA Director] wrote to Congress outlining a decade of connections between Iraq and al Qaeda, including training in poisons, gases and explosives.'  - R. James Woolsey, Director of Central Intelligence in the Clinton Administration from 1993-95.

'I think it was reasonable to reach the conclusion that Iraq posed an imminent threat.  I must say I actually think what we learned during the inspection made Iraq a more dangerous place potentially, than in fact we thought it was even before the war'. - David Kay, U.S. Iraq weapons inspector.

'The steady growth of Osama bin Laden's anti-U.S. sentiment through the wider Sunni extremist movement, and the broad dissemination of al Qaeda's destructive expertise, ensure that a serious threat will remain for the foreseeable future - with or without al Qaeda in the picture.' - CIA Director George Tenet's testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee.

'Bush, strengthen your defenses and your security measures for the Muslim nation which sent you the legion of New York and Washington has determined to send you legion after legion seeking death and paradise.' - Ayman al-Zawahiri, al Qaeda's second-ranking leader.

'This is an answer to your cooperation with the Bush criminals and their allies.  This is an answer to crimes that you committed in the world, notably in Iraq and Afghanistan.' - al Qaeda video claiming responsibility for the mass murder of March 11th, 2004 in Madrid.

The sheer volume of similar quotes from equally qualified scholars, historians, intelligence professionals and the enemy himself could continue virtually forever.  The prescient vision they present for the foreseeable future is painfully clear.

The citizens of the United States are locked in mortal combat to defend civilization against Islamist fascists who are ruthlessly committed to returning humanity to the early Middle Ages under Islamist tyranny.  The frightening truth is that they have the willingness and tools to accomplish their mission, to wit - the horror of the mass murder and destruction of September 11th, 2001.

America is the only obstacle in their malevolent path to success.  The United States has no choice but to wage total war to achieve absolute victory over Islamist fascism - just as the American conquest of German and Japanese fascism in World War II.  This must be our primary national goal, no matter how long it may take.

Any person or group not able to openly acknowledge these realities is not credible and cannot be trusted.  Denial of these truths reveals a pathological lack of clear judgment and resolve.  Astoundingly, we see this level of denial in the Democratic party.

It is very sad to witness our fellow countrymen be such fools.  However, because of their suicidal myopic perception of reality, Democratic candidates cannot be trusted with political power.  They must be soundly defeated at the ballot box.

The rest of us must courageously defend the civilized world.  The fate of humanity hangs in the balance.
