Field Organizers needed for full-time work in WV, Kentucky and Ohio with Head Start, with health care and social service employees. We offer competitive salaries and a full range of benefits.

DESCRIPTION:
A Field Organizer is responsible for:
Organizing workers to overcome opposition and win union recognition Identifying, recruiting and developing worker leaders and community allies Communicating union vision and plan to win union recognition Involving members in bringing a union voice to more members through growth Conducting basic research and logistics of an organizing campaign
REQUIREMENTS:
Position requires frequent travel.
Must possess valid US drivers license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.
Must be willing to relocated - moving costs are responsibility of applicant Good communication skills, personal discipline and organization, good judgment, and the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Computer skills needed.
Union or community organizing experience is preferred.
