Trump's Tyranny
Ten years after Donald Trump first ran for president, he stands at the helm of Titanic America. How did this happen?
No factors were more pivotal than the outlooks and actions of the Democratic Party leadership. Scrutinizing them now is vital not only for clarity about the past. It also makes possible a clear focus on ways to prevent further catastrophe.
Here’s actual history that corporate Democrats pretend didn’t happen:
A very close friend of mine in southern California used to listen to Fox News pretty much non-stop. The Venezuelan Communists, according to Fox, were planning to invade the USA, he warned me. Hordes of savage Venezuelans were about to ravage the lovely coast of Southern California.
Was this before Al-Qaeda, the Islamic State, Taliban, and the wicked Iranians sacked California, I asked him? America’s enemies are everywhere, according to the alarmist far right. Today’s rightwing worrywarts are the children of the ‘reds under our beds’ crowd of the 1950’s.
But Venezuela? It’s a military pipsqueak and has barely enough money to feed itself. This nation is rich by nature but poor by government.
Venezuela does have one of the world’s largest reserves of heavy oil which needs specialized refineries to process. In happier days, Venezuela served as a basic oil supplier for US industry. But then the Venezuelans, led by their colorful Castro-inspired strongman, Hugo Chavez, came up with the heretical idea that the massive oil profits should be equally shared between Americans and Venezuelans.
I’ve been struggling to imagine Elon Musk might do if he gets his trillion-dollar payday. He could spend a million dollars a day for 3,000 years. Or, more realistically, $100 million a day for 30 years. He could spend the $290 million he invested in Trump’s election and do it 3,400 times, wherever and whenever he pleases. Or buy more media properties, spending up to twenty times the $44 billion it took for him to buy Twitter and make it into a misinformation swamp key to Trump’s reelection.
But the money the Tesla board just handed Musk isn’t guaranteed. He has to meet goals like delivering 20 million Tesla vehicles and dramatically increasing Tesla’s stock price. Ordinary citizens can prevent that, but we need to take our efforts to another level.
The world knows that Donald Trump is an ignorant fool, a narcissist, a misogynist, a criminal, and more. Many American’s know that Elon Musk stole the election for him. Nonetheless, many still support him despite the fact that he raped a 15 year old girl, one of many children forced to participate in his depravity. It is also abundantly clear that this was an Israeli extortion operation intended to control American foreign policy.
I actually thought there might be some good news coming out of the Donald Trump White House but it turns out that I was likely mistaken. Trump treated the American public and a worldwide audience to an extended harangue targeting Nigeria for its alleged mistreatment and even killing of Christians. He threatened something like a military intervention similar to his aggressive posturing in Latin America and the Middle East complete with US soldiers “boots on the ground” to address the situation.
I decided to send President Trump this picture below and the story of 16 y/o U.S. citizen Mohammed Zaher Ibrahim from Florida who has been unlawfully detained, tortured, and starved at an Israeli prison and pleaded with him to call for the immediate and unconditional release of this American teenage hostage held in Israel since last February.
President Trump spent the last two years tweeting and lobbying for the release of Israeli POWs. He even threatened with "hell to pay" if Hamas doesn't release "all" of the Israeli hostages.
Mohammed is an American child who has reportedly lost over 25 pounds (approximately 11.3 kg) during his detention in Israeli prisons. His family has reported that he has lost nearly a quarter of his body weight and he has also developed scabies as they were told by the U.S embassy in Israel and the US State Department. Plus, this teenager has celebrated his 16th birthday in prison per Middle East Eye report.
Mohammed's family have met with US lawmakers in Washington and pleaded for help for the release of their son. All what they get from Democratic and Republican officials was:
I was born into an America who's character was reflected by the words on the Statue of Liberty, which are ““Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” All Americans of my generation were proud of that!
The Orange King has turned America into a hell hole that is intent on punishing the tired, the poor, and the huddled masses. It has become the cruelest of countries, governed by psychotically cruel people. The majority of Americans did not vote for this, and many are protesting vehemently, to no avail. Some pretend that this administration will give up power based on an election which is completely delusional. Unbelievably a large minority of Americans support this as if the victims are criminals.
America is under shutdown for the last 31 days and Gaza Strip has been under siege for the last 19 years. So, how did Gazans manage to survive and what lesson can American learn from Gazans during the government shutdown to make ends meet?
First of all, with almost no aid allowed in and food prices soaring, parents and children in Gaza are risking their lives to get even small amounts of food or safe water. Many are walking for hours, waiting in crowds, or dodging dangerous strikes and fire – only to return empty-handed.
However, Gazans have adapted to extreme food shortages by relying on a few meals a day, often skipping meals to feed their children. The UN World Food Program (WFP) reports that most families in Gaza survive on one meal a day, with one-third going entire days without eating. The meals available are often thin broths, lentils, rice, or a combination of herbs and olive oil known as "duqqa."
Since October 1, Congress failed to pass appropriations bills, leading to a lapse in funding for non-essential government operations. This situation can significantly disrupt employment and unemployment across the country.
