I would just like to say that your whole article about Bush going to prison is pure bullshit.  I guess its not important enough to have a ruthless dictator taken out who has killed thousands of innocent people huh?  Also your little thing called "truth" is bullshit as well.  I am insulted by that shit you wrote and insults the country as well.  Have a nice life in your own damn little dream world.

Up until now, the primary reason Kerry thinks he should be President is that he served in Vietnam.  That is great; however, the gentleman below takes issue with his service.  The most important things to consider are what he has done since then.  His voting record is very anti-military. He talks about creating jobs.  He doesn't have a clue about creating jobs.  No President can "create" jobs.  Presidents can only try to create a climate for job growth and Kerry's high tax plan would kill the job growth we are starting to see now.  We all can't marry filthy rich widows, Senator.  All he knows to do is to pander to the voters with expanded give-away programs in exchange for votes - typical liberal view of redistribution of wealth.  Whatever happened to JFK's "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country"?  Or something like that.    

Sometimes I feel as though the government is telling the public "Get out there and make some money; we have Senators to feed."

Go, tell your children about this. Go,  look into their eyes and tell them that  you want to gamble their lives for  the bonkers perception of yours. Larry Ross, founder of Nuclear-Free NZ is planning some protests and US awareness raising projects soon and will send press releases nearer the time. I can't believe the news we get where the doting US population adores Bush, thinks he is a christian and cannot see what he is doing. They will not believe anything bad of him.

From the other side of the planet, I see this dangerous religious fervor where people no longer reason for themselves.

It was not so long ago that the US government was making people believe terrible stories of "Communist brainwashing" I see no difference here, just a different country. Hitler  had a few followers too.

The Palestinian Christian is an endangered species. When the modern state of Israel was established there were about 400000 of us. Two years ago the number was down to 80000. Now it's down to 60000. At that rate, in a few years there will be none of us left. Palestinian Christians within Israel fare little better. On the face of it, their number has grown by 20000 since 1991. But this is misleading, for the census classification 'Christian' includes some 20000 recent non-Arab migrants from the former Soviet Union.

So why are Palestinian Christians abandoning their homeland?

We have lost hope, that's why. We are treated as non-people. Few outside the Middle East even know we exist, and those who do, conveniently forget.

I refer, of course, to the American Religious Right. They see the modern Israel as a harbinger of the Second Coming, at which time Christians will go to Paradise, and all others (presumably including Jews) to Hell. To this end they lend military and moral support to Israel.

Saddam Hussein is in jail.

I agree with you, put the entire bush family in jail...fore that is where they all should have been years ago...this is the worst atrocity of all...especially since we have shown no signs of civility...since our last atrocity....

In paragraph seven you state that the United States of A. was founded as the first anti-imperialist revolution in history. This is nonsense. First it was not a revolution so much as an insurrection or as some British scholars put it, another English civil war. The purpose behind the insurrection was to remove George III's fingers from the till and replace them with the likes Alexander Hamilton et al. The only revolutionary aspect of the struggle was the removal of the veneer of royalty from the class that owns and controls most of everything. As far as imperialism, the new nation took up where Britain left off and it still continues today.
